Positive Care has been entrusted to care for over 400 Young People who are looked after by the State. We work in partnership with TUSLA to ensure all Young People receive quality services. These include therapeutic residential care, access to education, access to psychological services, integration into local communities and preparation for aftercare. We acknowledge that each young person has their own individual needs. Coupled with our multi-faceted Care Framework, we best meet those needs with a four step plan beginning with assessment.
We are currently looking for Deputy Managers for the Waterford and Wexford areas. The Deputy Unit Manager will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a service aimed at meeting the needs of children and young people looked after by Positive Care. The Deputy Unit Manager is responsible for assisting the unit manager in all aspects of the running of the house, and managing the house in the manager’s absence.
The relationship between the Unit Manager and Deputy is vital to the long term success of Positive Care. The Deputy Unit Manager reports directly to the Unit Manager on all matters relating to the house, and they collaborate on all issues arising in the house.
