About Positive Care

Our Journey

Positive Care has been entrusted to care for over 500 Young People who are looked after by the State. We work in partnership with TUSLA to ensure all Young People receive quality services. These include therapeutic residential care, access to education, access to psychological services, integration into local communities, access to our Saoirse Adventure Programme and preparation for aftercare. We acknowledge that each young person has their own individual needs. Coupled with our multi-faceted Care Framework, we best meet those needs with a four step plan beginning with assessment overseen by our in house Clinical Team. 

Likewise for our Services for Adults with Disabilties, the focus is on individual care and support with programmes guided by our Positive Behaviour Support Department overseen by our in house Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. 

We employ and invest in over 270 people; more than 80%
of our management team have grown and developed from within the company. All of our teams understand and contribute to our vision for all Young People in Positive
Care. We have a multi layered Management structure to oversee compliance with Residential Care standards and to make certain that our teams receive the support, guidance and training when it is needed. We have grown over the past few years due to high demand for placements within our services. The various types of services we provide have enabled us to now manage 15 houses throughout Ireland. 

Our Management infrastructure goes hand in hand with our bespoke Client Care Software called Resiflex

Resiflex is a secure information management system that lets Positive Care deliver excellent care. With this hosted software, providers can minimise administration, maximise effectiveness, manage risks and gain greater oversight to ensure high-quality person-centred care. It integrates care, business management, risk management and quality assurance processes. Built in line with regulatory standards and best practice, the system is constantly updated to provide up to date support. It issues daily reports, alerts, KPI’s and allows management to be notified immediately on any subject matter within the services.
